I attended an Honors high school, and now I am part of the Honors program at my college. It has affected me in the way that I am much more prepared for independent study and self-reliance, and generally more advanced than my peers. It wasn't necessarily the information that I learned while in high school, but the preparation for advanced studies, organizational skills, professionalism, and self-motivation. I know many students in the Honors program here that do not do well, so exceptions happen.
if you want a nice body, go get it. if you want to become a lawyer, study your ass off. if you want nice hair, pick a style and get it done. stop being afraid and motivate yourself. find yourself. find your happiness, because it’s out there waiting for you.
Does anyone attend or has attended an honors high school?
I’m doing a project about why honors high schools are better than vocational and it would be great if any of you could share your experience (what classes you took, how it has affected your future etc.), you can be anonymous if you want.
